MayaRoad coming to SNS Caroline Lau, co-owner of Maya Road, will be here at SNS June29, 200.! She will be teaching 2 Class: Registration NOW for one or both classes. Caroline Lau is the Managing Partner at Maya Road. She and her sister, Deb, are the co-owners of the company. Caroline originally trained and worked as a Chemical Engineer before starting Maya Road 4 years ago. Caroline has travelled around the world teaching students on how to use Maya Road’s innovative products. She has also been published in magazines such as – Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks, Etc, Paper Crafts, Memory Makers and Somerset Studio. In her spare time, she loves to travel with her husband (David) and baby boy (Noah), play soccer, run and of course scrapbook! If you want to attend one of her classes call the store and ask to be put on the waiting list. We are trying to rent an empty store space across the parking lot from our store and if we get to rent it for the weekend ... then we will be able to open Karen's classes and allow more to attend all three classes. We will let anyone on the waiting list have FIRST chance to register for her class prior to sending out an email. Remember you will get FREE product for all the class projects ($60.00 in value). We have the class kit information/description available for both classes at the store. Any additional supplies you might need can be purchased at our store.

Photography Workshop will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17th and will be $105. Bring your camera, camera manual, pen and notepad to class. You will be amazed! Let your pictures to the talking...turn your photos into works of art - learn how the professionals work and much more. Class 2: Interactive Scrapbooking: Monday, Aug. 18th from 8am - Noon $65 only 5 spots left
I love “Interactive Scrapbooking” (scrapbooking layouts with envelopes, pockets, albums, customized page protectors, cards, flaps, etc.)…it’s my favorite kind of scrapbooking. And wherever I teach, the interactive style layouts that I show in class seem to be the layouts that the students are most drawn to and have the most questions about. So even though I’ve taught classes on Interactive Scrapbooking before, I’m doing it again. I want to expand upon the whole concept and take it to the next level. It’s going to be fun. You’ll be creating two single page interactive layouts (you get to choose your own color scheme), viewing tons of my own interactive layouts and take a whole bunch of product home with you (I’ve got more product in these kits than I’ve ever put in a class kit before). We will be creating two layouts. The first layout is entitled “Happiness is…” and will have a mini-album attached to it that will be filled with ten 4x6 photos of things that make you happy (ie. Kids playing at the beach, a cup of coffee, movie night, etc.). The second layout has a file folder attached to it that will be used to store artwork/homework from one of your kids, genealogy paperwork, journaling or any other 8.5x11 papers that you choose.
